The Anatomy of a Deal
Posted on by Bob Santy
Last month we talked a little bit about golf as we were at the Travelers Championship and this month, let me remind you all that on Monday, we’re hosting the annual CERC golf tournament - and we’re actually doing it a little differently this year. We’re having golf starting at 7:30 in the morning, and then a luncheon at 1:30 with a panel.
There are still opportunities if you want to participate - just go to cerc.com and sign up. And you can sign up either for the golf, or the golf and the luncheon, or just the luncheon.
At the luncheon, we’re going to be having a discussion that we’re calling The Anatomy of a Deal - we’re going to be joined by a broker and developer, a builder and owner, and an engineer who worked on the project, talking about the pieces of the deal, how the deal came together, what the challenges were and how they addressed those challenges.
This is part of CERC wanting to be more hands-on, on the ground, to make economic development deals happen. So we’re going to try and bring together the players in these deals to talk about what their challenges were and how they made things work so that we all can learn from that and do a better job, maybe even change some policies at the local level to make the journey a little bit easier.
Please try and join us on Monday and look forward to hearing more from us about the Anatomy of a Deal.
Thanks a lot!
