Connecticut Real Estate Executives Rewarded for Successes

CERC's quarterly SiteFinder Sweepstakes drawing rewards randomly selected members of SiteFinder who submitted completed transactions that were aided by the use of SiteFinder. The 70 total real estate deals submitted in 2006 resulted in more than 2 million square feet of leased or purchased space in Connecticut.

Third quarter sweepstakes winners were:

  • First Prize of $400: Submitting Broker - Christopher O'Hara of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT (Norwalk) for a 55,000 SF lease with A.O. Sherman at 2 Research Drive in Shelton.
  • Second Prize of $100: James A. Fazzone of Cheshire Real Estate Commercial (Cheshire) for the sale of a 2,467 SF condo at 125 Commerce Ct in Cheshire to 11125C, LLC.
  • Administrator Prize of $100: Lea Brunette of Colonial Realty (Fairfield) for a deal submitted by David Gorbach for a 28,044 SF lease by Wal-Mart at 459 Iranistan Avenue in Bridgeport.

Fourth quarter sweepstakes winners were:

  • First Prize of $400: Submitting Broker - David Melilo of H. Pearce Company (North Haven) for an 11,000 SF lease with Senior Whole Health at 290 Pratt Street in Meriden.
  • Second Prize of $100: Submitting Broker - Ed Godin of Matthews Commercial Properties (Waterbury) for the 68,000 SF sale of 440 Middle Street in Middletown to Baldwin Furniture.
  • Administrator Prize of $100: Melissa Fernance of Sentry Commercial (Hartford) for a deal submitted by Alan Bolduc for the 18,750 SF lease by Connecticut Metal Industries at 1 Riverside Drive in Ansonia.
