CERC recommends events to meet different objectives:
- Strengthening relationships with an existing business base
- Attracting a highly targeted audience to a region, town or even an individual real estate site
Bridgeport Red Carpet Tour
We coordinated the Bridgeport Red Carpet Tour to highlight the city's strong efforts at revitalization. CERC's economic development, research and marketing staffs identified the right CEOs to target and guided them through a full day of information and fun, changing negative perceptions into potential leads.
BIO Trade Show
For four years, CERC coordinated all aspects of the state's participation in the Biotechnology Industry Organization's annual international trade show, building Connecticut's presence from one booth to a 24-booth pavilion featuring the state's prominent and successful pharmaceutical and biotech firms, developers and related suppliers. CERC handled registration, pavilion design for a coordinated look, promotion and for the state booth, graphics, giveaway items and collateral.
Team Connecticut Rally
2005 marked the 11th year that CERC worked with the Connecticut Economic Development Association (CEDAS) to host the Team Connecticut Rally. Each year, the Rally honors the work done by the state's economic development community with an awards presentation.
Simsbury - Infinity Business Park Event
The property owner teamed up with the town of Simsbury to promote two available sites in the town. They hired CERC to research the types of companies that should consider the location and to create a web site and host an event on the site.
Voluntown Business Retention Event
The Voluntown Economic Development Commission wanted to reconnect with its local businesses, so they hired CERC to create a web site and assist with an event bringing everyone together to learn what the EDC was doing for businesses.
