Connie Maffeo is the Director of Connecticut's Business Response Center at CERC. Since joining the CBRC in 1992, she has focused her energies on providing excellent customer service to business people and economic development professionals seeking information on programs and services for businesses.
Her experience includes sales, telemarketing, product demonstrations, customer service, interviewing, training, public relations and supervision.
She has worked 13 years in both retail and corporate settings here in Connecticut.
In addition to three years of teaching, Ms. Maffeo has been a partner in two family-owned businesses. She holds a bachelor's degree from Duquesne University and a master's degree in guidance and counseling from Bowling Green State University. She is currently a member of the Connecticut Economic Development Association (CEDAS) and the Northeastern Economic Developers Association (NEDA). She recently received the designation of Economic Development Professional (EDP) at the 2006 NEDA annual conference.
