About Us

Looking for an economic development partner with comprehensive resources?  Start here.  CERC works with state, regional, local and utility partners to promote Connecticut as a prime business location by assisting with the following:

Real Estate

CERC can help increase the visibility of your property - from retail to office space, mixed-use to land to brownfields - whether you are a broker, private property owner or a municipal official.  CERC maintains the state's most comprehensive listing of available commercial and industrial real estate properties called CERC SiteFinder.  CERC also assists Connecticut Light & Power with their QuickTracts program.

CERC's real estate team can help conduct site analyses, implement full marketing campaigns or single tactics, host broker events and tours, and create an online database specific to your properties.  Starting with CERC, you can:

  • Identify your best property uses and target audiences
  • List or find a site or building on CTSiteFinder.com
  • Obtain labor, industry and demographic reports for your area
  • Coordinate regional networking and marketing efforts with potential partners
  • Connect to available resources.

Site Selection

CERC is a much-needed resource for site selectors and relocation specialists seeking information for clients in the process of determining where to relocate or expand.  When a consultant calls, we work with our network of local, regional and state contacts to assemble relocation packages that consist of available buildings and sites customized to the client's needs, demographic and labor force info, aerial photos, and GIS maps that may include topography, transportation, proximity to amenities and education, and more.  In addition to the customized assistance we offer, CERC has developed a first-of-its-kind searchable database of IEDC-compliant economic and demographic information called E.D.D.I.
