Connecticut's Business Response Center (BRC) makes it easy for you to handle everything you need to know about doing business in our state. Every year, we handle more than 20,000 inquiries, and surveys show we earn rave reviews from satisfied customers. Plus, all services are free thanks to funding from CERC, the Department of Economic and Community Development and CERC's Utility Funding Partners.

You can contact us over the phone by calling 1-800-392-2122 or by sending us an email. Your BRC specialist will use his or her own knowledge and our extensive databases to address your questions clearly and quickly. We'll put you in touch with the right people and organizations, tell you about government and private resources, explain requirements for your type of business, locate possible business sites and more. We'll even create a customized packet of information and put it in the mail to you within one business day. We also can arrange for a representative from the state Department of Economic and Community Development to contact you.
