Top Ranking CT Official Joins CERC Board - David Connors

The Connecticut Economic Resource Center, Inc. (CERC), the state’s leading nonprofit economic development firm, announces the election of new board member David Connors, director of supply operations for Aquarion Water Company of Connecticut and resident of Newtown, Conn.

Aquarion is the largest investor-owned water utility in New England and is among the seven largest in the U.S. Mr. Connors is responsible for operations of all of Aquarion's treatment facilities, wells, pump stations and tanks throughout Connecticut. His group includes 69 operating professionals responsible for providing water service to over 590,000 people in 42 communities in Connecticut.

“Aquarion is a long-time supporter of CERC – we welcome and look forward to working with David to help make Connecticut a more competitive business environment,” said Robert Santy, President and CEO of CERC.

He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a registered Professional Engineer.
